Become a Certified LIGHTING DESIGNER at the Academy 2025
Berlin - Hamburg - Cologne - Munich - Vienna - Zurich
________
This public course program of our academy invites you to follow a systematic educational pathway. Stepwise you can transform yourself into a well educated lighting designer that visualizes his qualification by recognized lighting certificates.
________
Your further training or seminar training to become a specialist light planner in indoor and/or outdoor lighting is structured and, above all, very practical at the academy (Certificate structure).
You decide personally which seminar modules you really need for your daily work and consequently how far you want to go: from 3 days to 20 days.
1) You will first complete the 3-day course for the specialist planner lighting of the Academy Basic certificate for lighting design, which provides you with basic knowledge of lighting, lighting technology, and lighting planning. If you are interested, you can then take the 3-day advanced certificate. You can book the two certificates separately or together as a compact course in one week (Mon-Fri, 5 days).
2) Persons who have successfully qualified with the basic and advanced certificates may then use the designation Certified lighting designer interior lighting, or Certified lighting designer for outdoor lighting
lead.
Lighting specialist planners: Benefit from our certification!
3) If you want to qualify in both indoor and outdoor lighting, then combine the indoor and outdoor lighting courses to DACH-I Certificate Lighting Planning
and are now allowed to use the general designation Certified Lighting Planner or Certified Specialist Lighting Planner.
4) In eight additional classroom and project days, you can further develop your lighting design skills. We will also qualify you for the everyday professional life of a lighting planner (client and project presentations, sales coaching). Successful graduates of this DACH II Certificate Lighting Design
may then use the designation Qualified lighting designer or certified specialist planner for light and lighting design.
