This 4 h course focuses on lighting control. We give an insight into modern applications, technologies and layouts for lighting control.

The course provides a very easy-to-understand introduction to the fundamentals of controlling lighting systems in interior lighting. Workshop modules and the assembly of lighting control systems make the course practical—a must-read for anyone interested in lighting or aspiring lighting designers.

Basic conceptual principles of lighting control for conventional lighting systems and LED systems, control signals (1-10V, DALI, DMX,Zigbee, Casambi), assembly of lighting controls for general lighting (dynamic white light, RGB, RGBA) and specifically for Human Centric Lighting (HCL), sensors and control elements (photocells, presence detectors, timers), intelligent lighting management systems (rear peripherals). Lighting control for the integration of daylight and the implementation of HCL concepts.
